The Alberni Valley Community Forest is located to the west of the  City of Port Alberni in the vicinity of Sproat Lake. The community  forest is comprised of two separate operating areas / forest  development units (FDU), the Sproat FDU and the Taylor FDU.  This FOM contains five cutblocks and related roads in the Sproat  FDU. A FOM is valid for the application of a cutting permit or  road permit for three years starting the date that the FOM review  and commenting period commences. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION NOTICE <br>Application for  ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION NOTICE  Application for an Approval Under The Provisions of the Environmental Management Act  We, LNG Canada Development Inc., Suite 4000, 500 Centre Street SE, Calgary, AB, T2G 1A6,  intend to submit this application to the Director to authorize the discharge of air emissions from  the use of an air curtain incinerator to burn the remaining clean wood waste from the construction  and commissioning of the LNG Canada liquified natural gas facility.  The lands upon which the air curtain incinerator will be situated and the discharge will occur  are Lot 1 District Lots 981, 5469 and 7940 Plan 12731 and Lot 1 District Lot 186 Plan EPP94746,  located near Kitimat, British Columbia, within the traditional territory of the Haisla Nation.  An air curtain incinerator is a pollution control device that reduces the particulate matter or  smoke generated by burning wood waste. The maximum loading rate of clean wood waste burned  in the air curtain incinerator will be 240 tonnes per month. The operating period for this air  curtain incinerator will be up to 24 hours per day when located more than 1 km from Cedar Valley  Lodge and a neighbouring industrial business. When located within 1 km of Cedar Valley Lodge  and a neighbouring industrial business, burning will start not earlier than one hour after sunrise  and material will be added to the ignited air curtain incinerator only during the period that  starts one hour after sunrise and ends at sunset, as per Section 28(5) of the Open Burning Smoke  Control Regulation. The air curtain incinerator will be operated for up to 7 days per week for a  period of up to 15 months. Notice of Disposition of Land  Notice of Disposition of Land  Pursuant to Sections 285 and 286 of the Local Government Act,  Notice is hereby given that the Alberni-Clayoquot Regional  District (ACRD) intends to dispose of land via Lease Agreement  at the Long Beach Airport CYAZ in Tofino, BC, with the following:  Pacific Rim National Park Reserve of Canada at Lot LSL2024002, 120 and 186 Airport Road for a term of five (5) years  commencing on April 1, 2024, and ending on March 31, 2029,  at a scaled rate of $74,080 in year 1, 85% of $100,106.70 in year  2, 95% of $100,106.70 in year 3, and $100,106.70 in year 4 and 5  plus GST and yearly BC CPI increases. The purpose of this lease  is for a maintenance and office building, and a storage building  and yard.  Any individual or corporation wishing to enter into a lease with  the Regional District for this property must submit, in writing,  their proposal and acceptance of all of the terms and conditions  as outlined in the lease agreement to the Regional District.
