NOTICE OF ADVERTISEMENT  Cape Mudge Forestry Ltd., a forest company wholly owned by the We Wai Kai First  Nation, gives notice and invites comment on the Forest Stewardship Plan (FSP) for it’s  Forest Licence to Cut and various Forest Licenses. The geographic area of the Forest  Licenses (as indicated on the map) covers portions of the We Wai Kai Nation’s territory  on the Eastern side of Vancouver Island from the Oyster River to Sayward, extending  as far west as Strathcona Park.  The FSP describes how the licensee will meet  the legislated performance requirements,  as a result of the Vancouver Island Land Use  Plan, the Sayward Landscape Unit Plan, and  various other Landscape Unit Plans, to ensure  management of resources other than timber.  A review and comment period of sixty (60)  days is open for stakeholders, interested  parties, and members of the public, to  provide written input regarding the content  of the FSP.
