Lease Hand 
Position: Lease Hand (Green Hand) Reports to : Driller General Summary of Position : The Leasehand position is deemed to be a Safety Sensitive position due to the proximity of heavy industrial machinery. A Lease Hand is responsible for keeping the rig site clean and performing general maintenance of the rig which includes set up and take down of the rig. Lease Hands also provide assistance to rig personnel as required, while gaining knowledge and experience of drilling rig equipment and systems. Safety is the first priority for all drilling rig personnel. The Lease hand will up hold a safe work culture Essential Duties and Responsibilities : General maintenance of drilling rig. Required to set up and take down rig. Cleaning rig to ensure it is free of debris. Painting drilling floor and general rig. Ensure usage of proper safety equipment. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Ability to work safely and plan ahead. Ability to work in a team setting. Strong communication and organizational skills. Good manual dexterity and a strong mechanical aptitude Ability to judge distance and spatial relationships. Experience : This is an entry level position. Certifications and Licenses : Must be at least 18 years of age. Valid H 2 S Alive Certification Valid CSO.Certification Must possess a valid driver s license and reliable transportation Physical Demands : Working on a drilling rig comes with many physical demands and a commitment to a safe work environment. A rig worker is exposed to all weather conditions, long hours and rigorous physically demands. Horizon Drilling is committed to ensure rig workers meet these physical demands by having each employee successfully complete a substance screening and strength and mobility test prior to them being hired. Rig workers should be able to successfully lift 90 lbs., work 12 hours shift in extreme weather conditions and are able to work in a team environment.
