Position: Casual Events Security Guards Location: Kelowna, BC, CAN Salary: $18-20 per hour Job Type: Full-Time/ Part-Time/Casual Looking for a career in Event Security because you think it's exciting, then you're right; being a security guard at events can be thrilling. After all, you may get to attend some of the hottest happenings in town- from concerts and festivals to sport games and even celebrity events. However, its important to keep in mind that working in security at an event comes with a lot of responsibility, it's up to you and your team to keep everyone safe and to ensure that everything runs smoothy. Currently we are accepting security work applicants to join for work in Kelowna, BC/Penticton, BC/ Kamloops, BC/ Vernon, BC, with ongoing events expected year round Do not have the Security Worker's License? 90-day license program- Can work as a security guard at events with a temporary 90-day license, with simple procedure of criminal background check.Having 90 days license can help towards acquiring permanent security license. BST (Basic Security training) leading towards acquiring permanent valid security license. Key responsibilities: Greeting and welcoming all guests in the area Conducting access control Providing excellent customer service Coordinating liaising with Police and other Emergency Service Providers as required Providing detailed reports including: occurrence reports, incident reports, and patrol reports as required. Reporting and documenting any safety hazards to the Operations Manager Requirements: Valid security workers license Must be able to stand/walk for an 8+ hr. period.
