KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee and maintain an organized and efficient parts department, paying attention to: purchase pricing, competitive retail pricing, obsolete inventory, stock on hand, no missed parts from invoices, cycle counts and other scorecard metrics Maintain stock levels and stock accuracy according to procedures and policies (receiving new part numbers, update part numbers, etc.) Track returns, credits warranty parts through procedures, reporting, and invoicing Delegate specific duties to parts staff, follow up on tasks assigned to staff, allow reasonable time limits for tasks and ensure they are completed Update and monitor parts reports to manage inventory effectively Assist in the recruitment of new employees for the team REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS As a member of the Summit Truck and Equipment Repair team, we expect you bring the following to the table: Journeyman Red Seal Parts Technician designation Strong motivator and a self starter At least 5 years of leadership experience Valid Class 5 Driver s Licence Must be computer literate and have the ability to learn new programs Demonstrate and promote work safe practices JOIN THE TEAM If you think there's a fit, we look forward to meeting you and thank you in advance for your application Visit our website to learn more about The Sutherland Group ABOUT SUMMIT TRUCK AND EQUIPMENT REPAIR Summit Truck and Equipment Repair offers heavy equipment and commercial transport repair based in Salmo, British Columbia.
