Store Manager 
Position: STORE MANAGER JOB OVERVIEW: The Store Manager, Flooring Centre is responsible for selling flooring to local contractors, managing major accounts, and supervising sales staff. Existing knowledge of flooring products and design is required. RESPONSIBILITIES: Communicate and follow up on all sales and customer service-related inquiries of existing and prospective clients Collaborate with sales team with sales and dealer inquiries, stock/product requests and general account management and support Develop and implement marketing strategies Manage staff and assign duties Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations Conduct sales activities and build relationships with customers including promoting and recommending products, plans, or installation services that match customer needs Inform customers on pricing, options, or status on pending orders Train associates Sales of flooring products accessories Manage regular and/or commercial and/or project accounts. Develop and maintain the customer base and establish a high-level ongoing relationship with their accounts. Helping customers with their selections and providing them with samples. Provide complete order fulfillment service to ensure objectives are met while exceeding customer expectations. Build and maintain heatlhy vendor relationships to ensure priority service Determine best sourcing options based on pricing and availablility options QUALIFICATIONS: Flooring expertise Experience leading teams Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment Experience working in a sales driven environment is an asset Excellent communication and reading skills Excellent decision-making ability and problem solving skills Proficiency with computers Please email our Director of Human Resources to apply; elizabeth.fleeton@buildingsupplies.ca (1156454h)
